Message from Ecology Ottawa to Bel-Air Residents to complete the online questionnaire on Baseline Station and Active Transportation:

Post date: Feb 21, 2019 3:35:14 PM

Ecology Ottawa is conducting a research and community engagement project designed to identify challenges and opportunities for active transportation around Baseline Station. Baseline is already an important transit hub, and will become even more critical for the community - and the city as a whole - once the second stage of light rail is completed in 2023.

If we as a community want to reduce our emissions from transportation, we need to ensure greater access to light rail hubs through transit, bike paths and pedestrian connections. So, how accessible is Baseline Station right now? As the city develops over the coming years, what challenges and opportunities does it face when thinking about fostering better connections for pedestrians and cyclists?
